Surrounded by family with artistic talents, acclaimed artist Rick Wisecarver began at an early age forming clay, sketching, drawing and painting a variety of subjects such as animals, Indians, historical buildings and individuals. As a one man show, Rick has made a name for himself and is well known for his “Cookie Classics” line of cookie jars, his figural painting, etching and fine carving on hand-made pottery. Rick’s artwork is primarily one of a kind and the dedication given to intricate small details is what makes his creations stand out from the rest and very much in demand today.

During his 30 years of creating art on pottery, Rick has also painted many oils on canvas, which are privately held by family, friends and collectors.
