Terms of Sale / Shipping Information Satisfaction / Guarantee

 

PAYMENT

  • Payment must be received within 14 days after your email of commitment of purchase. Payment must be in US Dollars. We reserve the right to void your sales commitment if payment is not received within the 14 days. If payment status is not known, your purchase commitment may be voided and the item will be available to other buyers. 
  • For buyers in the USA, we accept personal or business checks, money orders and certified checks.    Money orders and certified checks are very much preferred and item will ship upon receipt of payments in these two forms. All other checks must clear.... about 10-14 business days.  Our bank tells us that we should wait 2 weeks to be absolutely sure that the check has cleared.  Why?  Because the check may be re-submitted one or even two times before actually being rejected and returned to our bank as insufficient funds.   We have no way of knowing that your bank has actually paid your check, only you know that information. ***** Buyers outside the USA and all International buyers must pay with Western Union International Money Order or by electronic funds transfer from your bank account to ours after the exchange of the necessary information. NO other checks or payment forms can be accepted. 
  • We will notify you when your payment is received. We will notify you when we ship.  

  •     Visa and MasterCard are accepted. There is a 3.0% (3.0% of the total sale) processing fee added to all credit card transactions. Please email or phone in your credit card number, expiration date, full name that is on the card, and the billing address of the card. You will be notified of approval and your ship date.

 

 

 

 


SHIPPING TERMS

·        Buyer pays any and all shipping & insurance costs for any and all destinations of the item purchased.

 

·        Shipping costs are quoted for shipping in the continental USA and International shipping as outlined below. Insurance is mandatory.

 

·        We will notify you when payment is received. We will notify you when the item ships.

 

U.S.A.  SHIPPING

  • We use United Parcel Service (UPS). We will need your ship to street address destination; UPS will not deliver to a PO Box.  We will pack the item, weight it and email you with your shipping and insurance cost. We will be shipping from zip code 48336. With large packages there is often an additional charge based on the measurements of the package, referred to as DIM by UPS. You will be informed if there is an additional charge because of the box measurement. Use http://www.ups.com/ to estimate shipping costs. Again this is just an estimate, exact weight is needed to have an exact shipping cost.  Shipping costs are quoted for shipping in the continental USA only and insurance is mandatory.

 

  • For United Parcel Service we will use the tracking number as confirmation of the delivery on such date and by whom the package was accepted. You can find this information yourself at www.ups.com.   

  • We ship smaller items using the United States Post Office Priority Mail Service. We provide the shipping cost based on the weight of the item including the weight of the respective packing material when possible. With large packages there is often an additional charge based on the measurements of the package. You will be informed if there is an additional charge because of the box measurement. Insurance is based on the total value of the purchase. As of this date, United State Post Office Priority Mail Service insurance cost is as follows:

 $ 0.01 to $50.00 = .85,

 $50.01 to $100.00 = 1.80,

$100.01 to $200.00 = 2.75,

$200.01 to $300.00 = 3.70,

$300.01 to $400.00 = 4.65,

$400.01 to $500.00 = 5.60,

$500.01 to $600.00 = 6.55,

$600.01 to $700.00 = 7.50,

$700.01 to $800.00 = 8.45,

$800.01 to $900.00 = 9.40,

$900.01 to $1000.00 = 10.35,

For values over $1000.00 please add .95 cents to each $100.00 over the $1000.00.  We will be shipping from zip code 48332 for United States Postal Service Priority Mail. You can estimate shipping costs for United States Postal Service by using the USPS postage estimator, however this is just an estimate to use before purchase commitment so you can approximate shipping costs. To get an exact total postage amount for Priority Mail, you would need to know the exact weight of the package.

  • For United States Postal Service shipments we will use the Delivery Confirmation number as confirmation of the delivery on such date and by whom the package was accepted. With the Delivery Confirmation number, you can find this information yourself at www.usps.com.

 

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

  • If you are an international buyer, shipping costs are significantly higher. We ship through the United States Postal Service using their Parcel Post-Air service. The cost varies based on the ship to destination, weight and size of the box. Soon as you give us your ship to destination we can give you a shipping cost. With large packages there is often an additional charge based on the measurements of the package. You will be informed if there is an additional charge because of the box measurement. Insurance is mandatory, and we are required to complete and tape to the outside of the box "Customs Declaration and Dispatch Note" which clearly states the value of what is inside the box. At this time, insurance cost is as follows: total purchase amount not over:

$50.00 = 1.60,

$100.00 = 2.50,

$200.00 = 3.40,

$300.00 = 4.30,

$400.00 = 5.20,

$500.00 = 6.10,

$600.00 = 7.00,

$700.00 = 7.90,

$800.00 = 8.80,

$900.00 = 9.70,

$1000.00 = 10.60,

For values totaling over $1000.00 we will provide you with a cost. Please do not send a remittance based upon USA shipping quote. Use the International Rate Calculator to estimate shipping costs. Again this is just an estimate, exact weight is needed to have an exact shipping cost. We will be shipping from zip code 48332.

  • United Parcel Service is available to our International buyers as well.  We will email you with the total shipping and insurance costs after the item is packed, weighted and we have your ship to street address destination, UPS does not ship to a PO Boxe. We will be shipping from zip code 48336. With large packages there is often an additional charge based on the measurements of the package, referred to as DIM weight by UPS. You will be informed if there is an additional charge because of the box measurement. Use http://www.ups.com/ to estimate shipping costs. Again this is just an estimate, exact weight is needed to have an exact shipping cost. We will be shipping from zip code 48336.

  • Unless we state otherwise in the description AS-IS ...however, the Satisfaction Guarantee applies. ************ PLEASE ASK ALL RELEVANT QUESTIONS ABOUT THE ITEM BEFORE YOU MAKE A PURCHASE COMMITMENT !!!!  ************Your questions are very important to insure you are receiving what you desire.  Your questions will be answered honestly and to the best of our knowledge. 

 

  • We attempt to accurately describe the item ...we want you to be happy with your purchase.   Digital images sometimes make an item look better than it actually is, and sometimes digital images make an item look not as good as it actually is ....so please read the description completely AND ask questions.   Although we hope it doesn't happen... if you feel after all precautions have been taken, your questions answered, the item is not to your satisfaction, you must let us know by email at artreasure@aol.com within 48 hours after you receive it.   NO RETURNS WILL BE HONORED WITHOUT PRIOR RETURN AUTHORIZATION FROM US VIA EMAIL!!!!

 

  • Refunds will graciously be provided for the cost of the item only and will NOT include shipping and insurance either to or from.  This is similar to the return policy of big mail order houses (i.e. JC Penney, Sears, etc.) use.   The item is to be returned by the shipping carrier in under the same way it was sent to you; insured and the item in the same condition as you received it.  AFTER WE GIVE OUR AUTHORIZATION FOR THE RETURN, PLEASE SHIP THE ITEM THE SAME DAY. WE MUST RECEIVE RETURNS WITHIN THE SAME AMOUNT OF DAYS IT TOOK TO GET TO YOU FROM US OR THEY WILL BE REFUSED UPON DELIVERY. 

WARRANTIES

  • ArTreasures & Specialties provides NO long-term  or short warranty for any of the items on this web site unless it has been EXPLICITLY been stated in the description of the item.  If the maker, artist, or company who originally offered the item offers a warranty for the item, you would receive the appropriate paperwork with the appropriate information for contact, with item upon delivery.  If there were any warranty issues with the item, you would deal directly with the establishment the warranty came from for service.
